Moments of glory earned by practice For the athletes and coaches at ellmont there was much more to leir sport than just competition, ' here were the long hours spent aily on improving each individu- l ' s performance. Whether the ours were spent on the football eld, in a pool, on the gym floor, or n the mats, all those sports had ne thing in common. PRAC- ICE! The athletes spent hour after our, doing the same thing over nd over again, until every minute etail was perfected. But the ath- jtes were not the only ones who ' orked away their extra hours. The managers and coaches spent just as much time doing their share. They spent hours after prac- tices, washing, folding uniforms, and taking care of the equipment. The coaches had to make sure all the last minute details were taken care of and they also shared the team ' s excitement of victory and the disappointments of defeat. Not one team at Bellmont could have existed if there were not athletes, coaches, and managers ready to put forth the effort and practice, and there would not have been as many successful seasons either.
