FUNCTIONS AS SEPARATE UNITS This year the Bellmar High School Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America divided into two groupsg one section for seniors and juniors and the other for sophomores. On April 9, the Regional 4A Convention was held at Bellmar with regional president, Sue Ann Mancuso, in charge. Sue Ann also attended the state-wide convention at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, as state vice-president. The money-making project for the year was the sale of ballpoint pens. Acting as sponsors are Mrs. Mildred Coatsworth, seniors and juniors and Mrs. Eleanor Bicanich, sophomores. Junior and Senior officers include: President, Margaret Randall, Vice President, Lorraine Tintori, Corresponding Secretary, Marlene Rodish, Record- ing Secretary, Mary Lois Barger, Treasurer, Patti Gray, Reporter, Beverly Sadowski, Program Chairman, Dorothy Walko, Sophomore officers are: President, Bonnie Kostelac, Vice President, Carole Pozum, Secretary, Nancy Manown, Treasurer, Michele Ambrose, Reporter, Marcia Posick and Program Chairman, Vicki Saitz. FOR CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOR TRI-HI-Y PROVIDES FELLOWSHIP FOR MANY GIRLS Variety was the keynote of this year's program of the Bellmar Tri-Hi-Y, which is under the leadership of Patty Ferrari, president, and the sponsor, Mrs. Hixenbaugh. The Slave Auction provided the girls with an unusual means of making and having fun. In addition, the Can-Can dance in November was an unusual way of collecting canned goods to fill the Thanksgiving baskets for the needy.
