COLLEGE CLUB PLANS MADE FOR FURTHERING EDUCATION The College Club, one of the newer clubs, is composed of Juniors and Seniors interested in furthering their education. The main purpose of the club is to familiarize the students with various colleges and assist them in finding the college best suited to his individual profession. Through talks given by several students and with the assistance of the c1ub's sponsor, Mr. Trivonovich, valuable information was received by each member. Representatives from several district colleges enlightened the students making them realize the importance of pre-college instruction. Johnston CONCERT HIGHLIGHTS GLEE CLUB ACTIVITIES The Glee Club, under the direction of Mr. Petaccia is an organization created especially for those who enjoy singing and sharing this feeling with others. Promotion of music appreciation and the encourage- ment of budding talent, the purposes of the club, are achieved through their annual spring concert. Ap- proximately fifty members are in the club with ac- companists, Sue Ann Mancuso and Nancy Lee Neil. Rosalie Package is the junior trainee. One of the songs of this year's memorable concert was Red Wing.

FUTURE NURSES CLUB FUTURE NURSES ARE GUESTS OF UNIONTOWN HOSPITAL The Future Nurses Club was organized the latter part of the 1959 school year for girls who are interested in some phase of the nursing profession. This year's group of future nurses enjoyed many social activities. These included a picnic at Monessen City Park on June 1, and an outing at the home of Kaye Trickett on September 21. At various times throughout the summer, members of the club were the guests of the Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing. To raise funds, the organization held a bake sale on June 6 and acted as playroom supervisors for the P. T. A.
