That's the time in a family when you're all to- gether, Before anything has happened to any one of us. So began this delightful play with two of the young people remembering happy times.with Dad and Mother. Dad, an efficiency expert, believed that what works in the factory should work in the home. Consequently, despite his daughters' interest in boys and dates, Dad tried to organize his large family by means of charts, fines, and language records. Because, with a bad heart, he was living on borrowed time, his main interest was to leave the lightest load possible on Mother. Although he had no apprecia- tion for silk hose, dates, dogs, motorcycles, and cheerleaders, Dad managed to arrive at complete un- derstanding with his numerous progeny before saying his final good -bye and leaving to givea lecture in Europe, never to return.
