Sweet Dreams Were made of This Orchestra played for school events such as the What-a-Sho and the Christmas Concert. They went on a musical tour to Expo '86 in Vancouver and traveled to the Olympic Pen- insula in January. Orchestra students won- dered how long they would have to practice. Mr. Schlichting said, lt's not the quantity of what you play, but the quality of how you play that counts. The Orchestra has shown it's quality, playing songs such as Allegro, uPlinkl Plank! PIunkl and a 'lBrandenburg Concerto with a solo by Tami Grunhurd. Many people have said it was poetry to hear the full Orchestra play l'Dream of a Life- time, with a piano solo by Maria Kolby. 1,116 Got the World on zz String Strings were very important to the Chamber Orchestra. With this ye-ar's group being the largest ever, they were very busy, and had many engagements to attend.
