Good Individual Talent The Orchestra members worked hard as individuals, and when combined, formed a very talented group. As well as performing con- certs for the school like the Fall, Christmas and Mid-Winter Concerts and Graduation, they took their annual trip to CWU to play. A fundraiser that the Orchestra held was an annual candy sale at Christmas time. At the end of the year, they were awarded with a visit to Olympia which consisted of trips to the Capitol Building, State Capitol, Museums, Brown and Haly Candy company, and the Olym- pia Brewery. According to Mr. Schlicting, the Orchestra’s size was dampered but certainly not their spirits as proved by their performances throughout the year.
