Senate Went Above And Beyond The Limit The Senate, under the supervision of Mr. Steve Johnson, was the main branch of the student government at BHS. The Senate consisted of the ASB President Tim Benson; ASB Vice-President Gene Hogan; Secretary Treasurer Pam Fonda; one boy and girl representa- tive from each class, and one cheerleader representative. These individuals worked hard with each other and the administration to improve the school. One responsibility that the Senate had was to make the major decisions on how the ASB money was to be distributed to the activity programs. The Senate also planned Homecoming and Winter Sports Week. In addition to this, they set up the ASB and class elections. Basically, their procedures were the same, but the difference of this year’s Senate was shown in their positive attitudes.
