The Swing Choir was a busy group with a heavy performance schedule and few practices. The group was very dedicated and spent a lot of free time for rehearsals on Monday nights. Julie Riseland accompanied the group all year and was invaluable. They were a talented bunch of kids and working together all year brought them together as closer friends. Row 1: Les Valadez, Shelly Varner, Kim Galley, and Chris Copland. Row 2: Stuart Soderquist, Nancy Miller, Cindy Hoekstra, Jennifer Mixon, and Tom Mallahan. Row 3: Dan Albee, Beth Feiser, Caren Crabtree, Mark Iles, Julie Tan- gvald, Deanna Walton, and Paul Roe. Stour Fuds Opened Big A group of four talented friends got together and created the “Stour Fuds”, Bellingham’s first old-time Barbershop Quartet for several years. The senior boys performed in concerts and with the Swing Choir in many places around town and were always well re- ceived. Bottom to Top: Chris Copland, Eric Morgan, Paul Roe, and Kevin Pa- zaski. 1: The Stour Fuds practiced hard on their own time to come up with an entertaining performance.
