Concert Choir Had An Active Year 33 The 1979-80 Concert Choir was very active this year. Besides the major school concerts, they performed at the City Hall, the Elks Club, and Sun- nyland Elementary School during Christmas; and later performed at Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm during an extended Spring vacation. They worked many hours earning money to pay for the trip to Califor- nia, and overall had a super year. The Swing Choir was a busy group with a heavy performance schedule and few practices. The group was very dedicated and spent a lot of free time for rehearsals on Monday nights. Julie Riseland accompanied the group all year and was invaluable. They were a talented bunch of kids and working together all year brought them together as closer friends.
