LIST 1 L X SH 3 .. Flag Team Added Spark to Band Flag Team Was nevvly organized, rather late in the fall, to give the Band a more impres- sive appearance and also to tie the music dept. together. This year, it consisted of 8 girls who were Choir members. They marched with the Band in the Homecoming Parade and also performed at halftime dur- ing the Homecoming Game. The girls trav- eled to Vancouver, B.C. to perform during halftime at a B.C. Lions game the day after Homecoming. They also marched in parades in the Spring. Below: Flag Team members practiced before the start of the Homecoming Parade. Flag Team: Row 1: Shelly Yarner. Row 2: Karin Jones and Margaret Alsnm. Row 3: Theda Duncan, Lynda Brand, Nancy Rushin, Shari Swanson, and Margret Duncan. Chamber Orchestra: Row 1: Kevin Dickerson, Shelly Beaman, Bill Pierron, Linda Suggs, Scott Swan. and Mike Copland. Members played many engagements, including concerts at the Senior Activity Center, the Leopold Inn, and the Elks Club.
