SENIORS SPIRIT OF '76 The year 1976 marks the end of four long years of academic struggle for the senior class. In these years the “Spirit of ‘76” has participated in such events as Bicentennial projects, community affairs like donations to the new Senior Activity Center, March of Dimes (MOD), and SPIN. Before journeying into the outside world, the class of ’76 has purchased a carved sign, signifying BHS, for the front lawn. Class officers for the seniors were Marty Hatfield (President), Melanie Weed (Vice President), Cindy Piccolo (Secretary), Brad Parberry (Boy’s Rep), and Peggy Mallahan (Girl’s Rep).
