What-A-Sho BHS did it once again with the 39th annual What-A-Sho, Ingress-Egress. The theme literally meant to enter and to exit. Students entered and combined their talent to exit triumphantly from one of the best shows ever. An estimated 150 students pooled their time and talents to entertain before approximately 800 people on November 8th. The show was a combination of skits and songs, many of which were prepared and composed by members of the cast. Some new talent was produced this year as singers. Probably the newest and most original of the singers was the quartet of three, performed by three freshmen. It seemed to please the audience. The dramatic highlight of the show was when Joyce Canaan recited a piece called “Love.” This year’s Swing Chorus again played their part by performing such songs as the ENTERTAINER. For the first time in recent years a few members of the faculty performed songs. Miss Debbie Gibbs sang ‘‘For Bobby’’ and Mr. Mark Schlichting dedicated the song “First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” to his wife Gretchen. Last but not least let us not forget the crew, who spent quite a few extra hours above and beyond the call of duty in preparing the show. Without these people the show would never go on. Again Mr. Krag and his assistant Thom Leonard are to be thanked for their theatrical direction. All in all the show was original and creative.
