Its purpose is to provide citizenship training for girls of high school age in every constituent department ‘if if a The week after school let out last year, Steve Mura, Jeff Goltz, and Tim Dougherty along with five hundred other boys met at Gonzaga University for a week-long training session in government. The boys gathered to form model county and state governments. Each boy participated by running for an office. Our boys made an excellent showing of themselves. The training received by our boys has helped them into ecoming government informed and helping them to develop into capable leaders. pai The National Association of Student Councils is an organization dedicated to the extension of student par- ticipation through Student Council. At the national meeting, delegates from across the country meet to discuss citizenship and leadership: and their application for every aspect of the educational system. For one week of June last year, council president Peter Hashasaki and other members of N.A.S.C. gathered from all over the United States.
