When the gridiron season started, Coach l-larlan Jackson took over as head mentor and, with only six returning letter- men, fashioned a Cross-State Conference title winner. With a succession of triumphs and a hard-fought defeat at Spokane, where the Raiders clashed with John Rogers for the mythical championship of the state, the Raiders had a great pigslcin season. Diminutive Roy Richardson and smashing Loren Ward- rop were elected to share the inspirational award, while big Boozy Weisenburger was elected captain at the an- nual Pep Club banquet. The graduating seniors are: Richardson, Heidingsfeld- er, Monson, Peterson, Wardrop, Weisenburger, Anderson, Garrett, Chapman, and Sands. Jackson, Jewell FOOTBALL SUHEDULE Date B. H. S.
