Kim has been one of our best female athletes over her past five years at the high school. She has been a key person in all the three sports she played. But in basketball she has shown her best athletic ability. She led the team in scoring the past two years and also led the team in rebounding. Kim’s greatest achievement in basketball was the fact that she became the first female ever to score over a 1000 points. Dave Winship Dave has come from a long line of run¬ ners. This is shown through the fact that he went undefeated in the Tri-Valley League throughout the past two years in cross country. This year has to be a dream come true for Dave. He went to New York for the Regional Meet against runners of the same age. Out of over 100 runners he came in first place. This enabled him to qualify for the National Meet in sunny California. Out of 240 competitors Dave finished 38th. This is quite an accomplishment for a junior. Dave’s future goal is to compete in the Boston Marathon. Good Luck Dave! Dave’s running ability has helped make himself “THE BEST HE CAN BE!” Signing off Dick Stockton Tom Heinson 18
