In November, the officers and the advisors took a trip to Pennsylvania, where they participated in the North Atlantic Regional Leadership Con¬ ference. Upon returning from this excursion, the club’s members began to put the finishing touches on their projects to be entered in regional competition in Foxboro, February 7th and 8th. Those students who were successful at the regional level began to organize a dinner auction in order to defray the costs of attending the state conference, which was to be held in Springfield, March 17th through 19th. The following students received trophies at the state conference, and will be traveling to San Francisco to participate in the National DECA Conference, to be held April 29 through May 6: Debbie Pemberton, Nanci Haley, Kim Dwyer, Stacey Coady, Laura Glaven, Jennifer Zereski, Dianne Galipeau, Kristine Brown, and Debbie Parziale. These 9 students are involved in numerous fund-raising activities in order to prepare themselves financially for this trip, in¬ cluding selling raffle tickets, having a bake sale, and having home jewelry parties. 55 i 1st row: Delia Guidera, Cindy Mucciarone, Kerrie Squire, Jennifer O’Donnell, Traci Martin, Cory Henderson, Mrs. Gray. 2nd row: Maryjane Crawford, Diane Lafond, Candy Chapman, Pam Mahoney, Laura Blades, Michelle Letourneau. 56 Kim Gannon, Jo-Ann Gaudini, Linda Fleury, Marlene Jenckes, Kristen Parenteau, Dawn Surels, Ann-Marie Lavallee, Shirley Dearborn. 1st row: Sara Martell, Karie Girouard, Deborah Bigelow, John Hopper, Nancy Reynolds, Dyan Loof, Cheryl Sevigny, Mr. Schreffler. 2nd row: Faithe Willis, Dawn Walden, Jill Conners, Pam Mahoney, Katherine Szydlik, Patricia McQueeney, Tanya Raper, Kim Schreffler, Jennifer O’Donnell. 3rd row: Joane Bonin, Christina Mangano, Laura Mullaney, Mike Sabourin, Kent Linsley, Edmund Lewis, Kim Dwyer, Amanda Oakley, Kim Springston, Christine Picard. 57 1st row: Terry Bartlet, Janet Benson, Hope Finch, Dorothy Lesieur, Tammy Arcand, Lise Pelletier, Heather Haynes, Kerri Dwyer, Christine Fleuette, Tracey Eltzroth. 2nd row: Tammy Ravenelle, Meredith Lynch, Sheryl Lavallee, Tina Picard, Laurie Lariviere, Jennifer Knief, Jennifer Gonya, Paula Racine, Michelle Hardenbrook, Kelly Woodman. 3rd row: Paul Galipeau, Robert Benoit, James Levesque, Lee Calderon, Alan Levesque, Glenn Rice. 4th row: Carol Bickom, Peter Cifizzari, Jeff Theriault, Jeff Gagnon, Joe Ravenell, Barry Giles, Justin Hollander, Justin Trubiano, Glenn Smith, Mitchell Hardenbrook, Joseph Robidoux, Micheal Neville, Wilfred Fontaine, Mike Sabourin, Shelley Benoit. , - 59 1st row: Barry Giles, Mike Sabourin, Tina Picard, Timothy Galvin, Dorothy Lesieur, Paul Galipeau, Joseph Ravenell, Lee Calderon. 2nd row: Hope Finch, Glenn Smith, Alan Levesque, Fred Fontaine, Joseph Robidoux, Justin Trubiano, Robert Benoit. a n d 1st row: Jeffery Theriault, Patricia Sullivan, Lori-Ann Sarnosky, Sandra Comire, Gerard Dubois, Sandra Jacques, Kristen Lawson, Scott Knief, Nichole Fontaine, Kimberly Tougas, James Levesque. 2nd row: Linnea Kadlik, Kenneth Troland, Theresa Walsh, Jenna Joseph, Christopher Brunetti, Sara Martell, Harry Schreffler. 60 1st row: Cheryl Sevigny, Linda Simpson, Denise Bass. 2nd row: Robin Connolly, Cheryl Connolly. 3rd row: Kim Gib¬ son, Kim Connolly, Debbie Vitarisi. Do you remember the mixer, when as 7th grad ers we all blended together to become better acquainted before enter¬ ing the high school? First to emerge as our 8th grade leaders were — Kim Connolly, President, Dianne Galipeau Vice Presi¬ dent, Debbie Pemberton Secretary, and Cindy Sasen Treasurer. It was a year of discovery and challenge. In the fall of 1981, as freshmen our advisor was Mr. Thuot. We held our first dance, had a table at the flea market, and experienced our first Spirit Week. Our treasury was expanded by running a number of contests in¬ cluding “who are the beautiful babies among the faculty.” Taking charge of the 9th grade was Linda Beals President, Terece Maines Vice President, Cindy Sasen Secretary, and Nanci Haley Treasurer. Will you ever forget our sophomore year’s Spirit week with its mix and match day and REO Speedwagon ticket raffle? And, of course our Sophomore Ring Dance. Blue Star entertained us as we discover ed our first Royal Court. The Royal¬ ty included: King Joe Thomas, Queen Kristine Brown, and Princesses Linda LeBlanc, Chris Haswell, Shelia Maguire, Allyson Levesque. Leading our Class were — Linda Beals President, Terece Maines Vice President, Cindy Sasen Secretary, and Allison Willett Treasurer. In our junior year, Mrs. Lowry joined Mr. Thuot as our advisor. We began the year by holding a tic-tac-toe game at Bellingham Day. Do you remember planning our Jr.-Sr. Christmas Party that turned into a New Years Eve Party due to weather? We all began to look forward to the Jr.-Sr. Prom at the Sheraton Mansfield — our first formal dance. “Something Catchy” was the band. Our court consisted of: KING Ken Parsons, QUEEN Nicki Parenteau, COURT Denise Theroux, Ted Rigney, Debbie Pemberton, Bill McDonough, Allyson Levesque, John Gonya, Cheri Gotovich, and Joe Collamati. Our four officers were Linda Beals Presi¬ dent, Joanne Eno Vic e President, Cindy Sasen Secretary, and Allison Willett Treasurer. Senior year brought with it a new list of adventures as well as a new Presi¬ dent — Emily Arpin leading with her were Joane Eno Vice President, Cindy Sasen Secretary, and Allison Willett Treasurer. We had many activities including the first punk-florescent Spirit Week, Halloween dress up day, and the Jr.-Sr. Christmas Party. Our Senior Prom was held at the Sheraton Mansfield for our second year in a row, we were entertained by Blue Star, and our court was made up of: KING Ted Rigney, QUEEN Stacy Stearns, COURT Nicki Parenteau, Mike Meehan, Linda LeBlanc, Ken Lafond, Cindy Muc- ciarone, Mark Armstrong, Jean Duffney, and Gary Pandolfi. We experienced an exciting fun filled day at the Frank Davis Resort for our Class Trip. We definitely distinguished ourselves as the best school there by win¬ ning many of the contests between schools. Today is Class Day and tonight we will celebrate our years together as a class at our Senior Banquet. Tomorrow we will take our final steps towards the future as we venture into the world — Graduates of Bellingham Memorial High School.
