We, as witnesses to the above will and testament, hereby declare said will and testament as legally binding. We appoint Robert Pemberton and Cheryl Ranieri as Ex¬ ecutors of this document. Respectfully submitted, Cheryl A. Hardenbrook Thomas T. Tuttle 45 Our years at Bellingham Memorial High School can be compared to the voyages of a ship. Our Freshman year — our first voyage; we were young and inexperienc¬ ed. The sea of life showed much mystery and darkness, but somehow we made it. Officers were Peter Robinson — President, Elaine Pemberton — Vice-President, Linda Gagne — Secretary, and Jennifer Thomas — Treasurer. Activities included the Halloween dance, car wash, Odd Couple movie, Christmas flea market, “Goodbye to Mr. Flynn,” and field day. By our second voyage, we gained a little confidence, and a little ex¬ perience. Remember the sweetheart roses sale, Ring dance, car wash, and the end-of-the-year dance? Helping out were Elaine Pemberton — Presi¬ dent, Cheri Hardenbrook — Vice-President, Barbara Brooks — Secretary, and Brenda Short — Treasurer. The third voyage and our Junior year; we were suddenly starting to see glimpses of land. Our voyages would soon come to an end. Older friends were leaving and we found ourselves with new responsibilities and new ad¬ justments. The class participated in the school raffle, Christmas stocking sale, the Winter Cotillion, Sadie Hawkins dance, the ice cream sundae sale, and the long awaited Junior Prom: Chosen leaders were Elaine Pemberton — President. Michelle Beauregard — Vice-President, Cheri Hardenbrook — Secretary, and Jean Depoto — Treasurer. The voyages of high school bring many happy times, but they also bring storms. This year we had to face the death of a classmate — Frank Arcana. At last our fourth and final voyage. The trip we long await and the one that ends so quickly. We sold Rubik’s Cubes at the Christmas flea market, had dress up day, made Thanksgiving and Easter baskets, and sold Valentine carnations. Seniors also showed their spirit by holding Senior week, “Punk night,” the Senior Prom, class trip, Senior Banquet, and finally — Graduation. Officers were Peter Robinson — President, Ricky Catarius — Vice-President, Cheri Hardenbrook — Secretary, and Jean Depoto — Treasurer. As the voyages of high school come to a close, we are saddened at the thought of leaving old friends and old ways of life. But, we are also happy to have new beginnings and fresh horizons. As the class departs, to travel separate voyages, we know our souls will always be united by the spirit of the class of 82 ! Her concern, experience, and instruc¬ tion have been invaluable assets to us during the year. 149 “Place all these in the treasure chest,” Cried the Captain “For these are the best” These are the memories of action and fun Lay them down carefully, till our journey is done One day soon, with a different tide We’ll open this chest and then look inside, We’ll gaze at our keep with joy and pride Store something of every sort Save a memento from every port The books, the cards, the coins of gold, The jewels, the shells, memories new and old Yes, mates, someday so very soon, When the tide is high because of the moon we’ll unlock the chest, and then peer inside and we’ll once again remember this ride Thomas Tuttle I 150 151 The creation of a yearbook is dependent upon many people. To all those people who have given freely of their time to see that this book was completed, even though they were not actual members of the Epilogue ’82 Staff, we offer our sincere thanks for your cooperation and valuable assistance. It has been your contributions that have made our jobs im¬ measurably easier. We appreciate the help of the following: Rudy Graziani, of Cameo Studios, our official photogrpaher, for his advice, experience, and excellent production. Mr. Canestrari and Mr. Frappier for their support and for allowing us to practically set up an office in the main hall. Rick Catarius, for always being there to help sell or promote the 1982 Epilogue. The Student Council, for co-sponsoring the basketball game between the faculty and the Harlem Wizards, and then being generous enough to let us have all the profits. Taylor Publishing Company Representative Paul Delaney, for tolerating all our mistakes and somehow mustering a smile at the same time. Anyone who purchased this book. Our Sponsors and Advertisers, for their financial support. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Morrell, for permitting us to hold a Staff meeting in their home. Mr. and Mrs. David L. Tuttle, Jr., for donating the use of their car and telephone on occa¬ sions too frequent to count. Delia Guidera, for her assistance to the Sports Section. All the members of the faculty who allowed students out of class so that pictures could be taken, books could be sold, etc....
