Class Prophecy The scene: Linda and Gail ' s new nite club, The Dario Plaza. The time: 1975 Linda: Gail, here comes our first guest, Pauline Mercier, in her new aqua T-Bird. She is now the general manager of all Arthur Murray studios, you know. Gail; Yes, I know. And here comes Bob Picard, our former class president. He owns the Pick-a-Ball Bowling Alleys. Hi, Pauline, isn ' t that Ron Cassinelli’s M.G. behind your T-Bird? Pauline: Yes, as a successful architect he has just completed plans for the new art museum in honor of James Goyer since Jim has become a renowned artist. Irene Bourassa, the town treasurer, is chatting with Pat McNamee and Bertine Crooks, who are teachers at the University of Miami. Linda: Guess what! Pat Graves and Sue Berard are now co-owners of Cumberland Grill where we got our first jobs. And there are Leonora Pierannunzi and Lucienne Robert, owners of Lolly and Lu, a beautician school, with two of thei em¬ ployees, Gloria Poirier and Diane Rideout. They’re comparing notes with Norbert Martel and Bob Bogigian, who own a long chain of barber shops. Pauline: Oh, by the way, isn’t Jerry Cook the one who built this beautiful nite club? Gail; Yes, as a matter of fact he is. He and David Rhodes put it together in a few weeks. Sandra Castagnaro and Martha Marchionda may be late because they are being flown in from Paris by Ed Forbes who is now a pilot for TWA. Linda: Yes, I have also heard that Eileen Levesque is an airline hostess for TWA and Martha and Sandra are under the direction of Monsieur Richard Gladu, fashion expert. Here come the doctors, Richard Cloutier and Richard Picard, from The Fix-em-up Good Hospital on Lake Street. Pauline: Judy Berry is head nurse there. Remember Lucille Chamberland’s Zebra? Well now she manufactures, not mink coats, zebra coats. And Bonnie Cliffe, now the star of The Bonnie Cliffe Show,” has two of our former class members as members of her staff. Jack Ridolfi gives the commercials for a seven flavor soap and Dick Tebeau operates a camera. Gail; Did you know that Beverly Thayer is a sergeant in the United States Air Force? Linda: Yes, and she loves it, too. And Ann Kozak, one of her closest friends in high school, is a medical secretary for Doctor Ching Mang How. She would be a good surgeon if she could reach the top of the table.
