 Mrs. Madclyn Davidson Mr. Manuel Trevino BA, MA Long Beach State AB Chico State Mr. Joe Stits BA, CSLB Y School started early this year for two-hundred students who attended summer school to satisfy social studies this year. This continued the system of team teaching under the direction of Mr. Morgon, Mr. Smith, Mr. Hester, and Mr. French. The team-teaching system has been adopted in other departments this year. Under the direction of Mr. Mor- gan, the social studies department strived to gain a better understand- ing of events of the United States and of other countries throughout the world with a higher standard of teaching. Such courses as social science, psychology, economics, and sociol- ogy are geared for the students who desire to delve more deeply into the field of social studies.
