DeitcafeclTVY uu Because of all the uncountable and invaluable things she does for Bellflower High every day, we the Annual Staff dedicate the 1967-68 Treasure Chest to Mrs. Betfie Palmer. A friendly smile, a soft voice, and a helping hand towards student problems, these are a few of the many characteristics of Mrs. Palmer. She was born and raised in Los Angeles. She attended standing in line to get her annual. Mrs. Palmer is always ready to assist students who are staying late painting posters, or distracted club presidents with late notices to be put in the next day's bulletin, or helping newly elected treasurers get their club finances straightened out. How Mrs. Palmer can get her work done with at least fifty people in the activities office at once, yelling and asking questions, is a miracle, but she does, efficiently and cheer- fully. She takes care of ordering all of the materials, plus working every morning in the attendance office during the mad rush. Without our activities office secretary, the annual staff, student government, clubs, and practically all school activi- ties could not function. We the Annual Staff, as representa- tives of the entire BHS population, dedicate our yearbook to you, Mrs. Palmer, as a token of our gratitude and thanks. 6
