foreword As the years pass, you will want to look back and reminisce upon your days here at Bellflower High School. Within this, the Treasure Chest of 1956, we have tried to recapture through artwork, pictures and descriptions, the events of the year most treasured by you. The theme of the Treasure Chest this year is Just Pictures, Not Words. The annual is centered around art to accentuate the theme. As the following pages unfold be- fore your eyes, we hope they will give you memories as everlasting as the universe itself. 10
