RH ETA BANGMA 'No goal too high for her to reachf Rheta, a quiet but talented girl, stands high in class achieve- ments. Born in the Netherlands, she came to America nine years ago, entering the third grade at Bellflower Chrisitan. Being a lover of sports, she participated in baseball in her freshman year, volleyball as a iunior, and was a member of the G.A.A. this year. Her noble ambition is to become a Christian school teach- er after attending Calvin Col' lege. 'V KENNETH BOOTSMA Theres a little bit of bad in every good boy. One of our twelve-year stu- dents, Kenneth has always gra- ciously shared with us his mu' sical talent. During each of his high school years, he was a member of the Glee Club and Male Quartet. As a sophomore, he was an active member of the Photography Club and the B Basketball Team. He led the iunior class as president, was vice-president of the Student Council, was on the Crusader Staff and was lead man in the Junior Play. Besides being class president in his senior year, he ably edited the T955 Crusader. He plans to take a pre-med course in college. i GERTRUDE Bos A pretty girl is like a melody. Gertrude came to our school from the Artesia public school while in the fourth grade. A friend of all, she has capably held many desired positions and leaves an enviable scholarship record. For three years she has represented our class in the Stu- dent Council and sang in the Glee Club. She was a member of the G.A.A. during her iunior and senior years and served as treasurer of this organization for the past year. Gert played vol- leyball while in her freshman year and basketball during the last two years of her high school days. She plans to work in a bank in the near future.
