FH FHA Grows On Future Homemakers of America, FHA, helps the youth assume their roles in society in areas of personal development, family life, vocational preparation and community involvement. The club kept itself busy year round with activities that began in August and ended in May. As the school year began FHA formed a Big BrotherfBig Sister program, to get the seventh graders acquainted with the school. To raise money for future events, FHA members sold cookie pies. Other club activities included: a donut sale, a visit to Rosedale Manor, a bicycle check, decorations for the school's Christmas tree and speakers from MADD and the State Police Department. FHA was also able to send two girls from the Kentucky School for the Deaf to the state meeting. The 1982-83 chapter was the largest chapter in Region 7 with a total of 87 members. The chapter also had two regional officers, Brenda Buchanan, Region 7 President and Linda Frondorf, Region 7 Historian.
