TUQEE T coU c1L An Active Year I I- 1 - l N I - '- During the 1982-83 year, Student Council sponsored Sweats Day, Shorts Day, and Christmas Door Decoration. Money made from these activities went toward the Spirit Scholarship Fund. Student Council also organized Football and Basketball Homecoming. Additionally, the club bought a boys and girls basketball game so students could attend for free. The candy sale, held in February, served as Student Council's main fund raiser. The money raised from the candy sale aided in the buying of a tape recorder for the computer, a telephone for the Ben Flora gym, and a film projector. The year ended with the banquet held in the Grandview gym where vf. the installation of the new officers took place.
