DE Nationals Again D N ' A 'A ' DECA provides an opportunity for high school students to excel in distributive education by dealing with the vocational aspects of life and getting hands-on experience while in the process. To raise money for the Spirit Scholarship fund, the club sponsored a Halloween dress-up day. Selling popcorn, salt and pepper shakers, collecting aluminum cans, and visiting Lakeside Nursing Home were other activities enjoyed by the club. The big event of the year for DECA was the regional competition that was held at Northern Kentucky University. At this competition, G. Batsche, M. Emmerich, D. Grome, L. Stephens, C. Glancy, C. Eaton, C. Mclntyre, D. Woolridge, T. Parrott, and D. Holaday qualified to compete in the state competition. At the state competition, Mike Emmerich and Lonnie Stephens qualified for the national conference held in New Orleans during the summer. DECA - First: C. Williams, C. Glancy, D. Woolridge, C.
