Drama Big Hit in Premier Year ewly organized this year, the Drama Club undertook the enormous task of putting on the first musical at Bellevue in over forty years. Directed by Mr. Dan Davies, AI Capp's Li'I Abner involved members of Drama Club as well as any interested actors or actresses in grades 7 through 12. The play, performed on the nights of March 21 and 22, was received with overwhelming enthusiasm by the school and the community. The club was originally set up to widen students' understanding and appreciation of theater. As a part of it's activities, the club attended several plays at NKU and surrounding schools. By putting on a play such as Li'l Abner, the students not only learned about the ruled and procedures of acting, but they also learned the importance of working together for a common goal.
