Juniors Use Candlelight, Roses to Create Special Atmosphere N ot withstanding the threat of bad weather, the 1980 Prom turned out to be an elegant affair held on March 28, at the Quality lnn. The theme of New Horizons was enhanced by lovely scenery provided by an industrious junior class. Hi Tension filled the air with soothing ballads, contemporary rock, oldies rock, and even a few foot stompin' bluegrass tunes. For the seniors, the prom marked the end of an era, as they were attending their last high school dance. More than a few tears were shed as the band played last year's prom song, Midnight Blue.
