The student body's choices for King and Queen were Sandy Hill and Mike Kelly. Selected as first attendants were Paula Kappes and Nick Benge. Karen Lee and Todd Hardy were named second attendants. E93 1 Frosted Fantasies hroughout the dimmed gymnasium, glowing candlelight, frosty windows and an enchanted castle in the snow made fantasy become reality at the Christmas Ball, December 8, 1979. The evening began with a dinner and pictures at 7:30, while shortly thereafter, the dance was well on its way to a sparkling success. Music provided by Borderline satisfied underclassmen as well as sentimental seniors. After an unexpected visit by Santa Claus, the court was announced as crowns and gifts were presented from Santa's sack. Jon Sutkamp and Joy Youtsey were proudly crowned King and Queen with First Attendants Dean Walz and Paula Kappes and Second Attendants Don Henn and Kelli Mclntosh.
