Andy Vefkamp Ronald T. Verkamp .4 Dean William Walz Maureen D. Waters Forging Ahead As we leave B.H.S. we wonder what is ahead for us. We realize the time has come for us to think seriously about our futures. We contemplate our opportunities. Should we go on to college and prepare ourselves further, or would it be better to enter the world of business immediately in order to get a head start? Maybe the armed forces would be the right choice: to serve our country in these turbulent times might be the right path. Many of us feared that our commencement would be an endingg but as we contemplate our many choices for the future, we realize that this is a beginning. We have taken our first steps toward a new era of our lives. It is time for us to move upward - on to bigger and better things. 125212515 . - 1. -. Class ot '80 Salutes Prominent Seniors ln September, the senior class selected its most outstanding members to be honored as the 1980 senior superlatives. These fourteen seniors were chosen for their dedication and service to our school to receive the traditional titles. Each senior should be proud of his or her accomplishments during high school. For some, these accomplishments led to awards, scholarships, or other recognition. For most of us though, the most important reward is the feeling we get in our hearts in knowing that we did our best for the improvement of the school and the community. FRIENDLIEST: Mark Culp and Joy Youtsey MOST SCHOOL SPIRIT: Sue Johnson and Mike Kelly OUTSTANDING SERVICE: Dean Walz and Kelley Maher BEST LOOKING: Flon Chuke and Laurie Schuett MOST ATHLETIC: Maureen Waters and Jon Sutkamp MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED: Laura Koehler and Greg Leopold MR.
