Daniel Lawrence Hein Sally J. Henderson Good Times Our junior year was possibly the most memorable of our high school years. We were really getting up there and it felt good. Junior year was the excitement of picking class colors, flower, and mottog the nervous chatter of the students' clever ideas for the prom, and the sense of satisfaction seeing it all turn out so elegantly. We will never forget Ms. Winkler for all her guidance and understanding of our ideas. Mrs. Grim's and Mrs. Brindle's experience certainly helped out in our making all the right choices. We fondly recall Mr. Davies providing a fresh approach to English with his extraordinary wit and humor, Mr. Brennan giving everyone a chance to work the popcorn machine, and Mr. Kohler explaining history with his hands. We loved those days and we were learning to better accept whatever challenges life might present. Although we wanted those days to last forever, we knew they couldn't. Besides, our senior year lay ahead! Opposite, above: Bob Piccola and Bob Linkugel look confident as they whiz through a test. The Tiger in Joy Youtsey and Laurie Schuett really came out before the 1979 State Championship Game. We remember the excitement of getting out of freshman sports and getting to practice with our idols, the varsity. We experienced the thrill of answering a difficult question in Mrs. Grim's or Mrs. Moran'S English class, much to the surprise of the juniors and Seniors. Sophomore year was learning to mingle with the older crowd, Ms. Giltner's friendliness and helpfulness with class projects, trying to laugh at Mr. F'toyalty's corny jokes in Geometry, as well as trying not to laugh when he smeared colored chalk all over his face. We met new people and made new friends. Our class began to grow closer so that one day we would be able to leave B.H.S. not as a bunch of different cliques, but as one strong unit that could go out and attain our varied goals.
