Baseball The l958 Baseball team started the season with victories over Simon Kenton, Silver Grove and Dayton. Due to injuries to the pitching staff, the team suffered several losses before recovering. Outstanding were Seniors Bob Iones and Chris Christofield and Bill Hanson, a Iunior. Coach McKenney and his Tigers are looking forward to the district tournament which will be played at Newport this year. Swimming Bellevue finished second in the Conference swim- Q will be lost through graduation: Don Giles, Dave Culp, ming meet and also took second place honors in Class Iack Raver, Roy Smith and Torn Rece. Volleyball, basketball, tennis, aerial darts, softball and modern dance are offered under the leadership of Mrs. Arlene Dickerson, the new Director oi Physical Edu- cation for Girls. G.A.A. played in the Girls' Athletic Basketball Conference along with five other Northern Kentucky schools again this year.
