Football Banquet On December 4, l957, the football squad was honored at a banquet sponsored each year by the Boosters Club. After greetings from Mr. Cliff Tracy, Boosters president, Mr. Ben Flora, former coach and principal of Bellevue took over as toastmaster. The major address of the evening was brought by Mr. Ed Kennedy, well known Cincinnati sports announcer. Iackets were presented to the six Senior players- Ierry Dougherty, Chris Christofield, Don Hoop, Don Fagaley, Bob lones and Dave Graham, as Well as to the cheerleaders-Ianet Bass, Sandy Klein and Debby Petrey. Letters were presented to other players who qualified by participating in the required number of quarters. Coaches awards were presented to Bob lones as the most valuable player, to Don Fagaley as most ef- ficient back, to Bill Hanson as most efficient linesman and to Dennis Bradford for the best attitude. Bill Hanson was named captain for next year. 66 Lett: Coaches Owen Weis, Boy Mc- Kenney, lim Ienkins, Norman Deeb, Speaker Ed Kennedy, Principal Don Davis, Toastmaster Ben Flora. Below: Mary Kay Yelton was voted football sweetheart by the team and Bob lones and Don Hoop were named captains.

B Club Right: Carol Furnish and Bob Iones examine the Sportsmanship Award which the NKAC presented to Bellevue tor the second year at the close of the football season. 67 The B Club is comprised oi all boys who have lettered in any sport including football, basketball, baseball, track and tennis. This group attempts to promote participation in sports by a larger number of boys. It undertakes one or more special projects each year and gives a dance to help raise funds for this activity. No year would ever be quite complete without the B Club vs. Faculty basketball game which is played after the close of the regular season. The audience as well as the players enjoy this game to the fullest and look forward to it with a great deal of enthusiasm. 7-F-AF'-,,,4
