Football Banquet On December 4, l957, the football squad was honored at a banquet sponsored each year by the Boosters Club. After greetings from Mr. Cliff Tracy, Boosters president, Mr. Ben Flora, former coach and principal of Bellevue took over as toastmaster. The major address of the evening was brought by Mr. Ed Kennedy, well known Cincinnati sports announcer. Iackets were presented to the six Senior players- Ierry Dougherty, Chris Christofield, Don Hoop, Don Fagaley, Bob lones and Dave Graham, as Well as to the cheerleaders-Ianet Bass, Sandy Klein and Debby Petrey. Letters were presented to other players who qualified by participating in the required number of quarters. Coaches awards were presented to Bob lones as the most valuable player, to Don Fagaley as most ef- ficient back, to Bill Hanson as most efficient linesman and to Dennis Bradford for the best attitude. Bill Hanson was named captain for next year. 66 Lett: Coaches Owen Weis, Boy Mc- Kenney, lim Ienkins, Norman Deeb, Speaker Ed Kennedy, Principal Don Davis, Toastmaster Ben Flora. Below: Mary Kay Yelton was voted football sweetheart by the team and Bob lones and Don Hoop were named captains.
