A. is a nation-wide organization ot high school girls who are enrolled in Home Economics courses. lts purpose is to promote better understanding and ap- preciation ot homonialcing, and to prepare America's homeniakers tor the responsibilities of family and com- munity lite. During the course ot the year, F. H. A. gave a dance, a Mother and Daughter Banquet, several candy sales, a skating party, a hayride, an annual style show tor the P. T, A., and sent a Care package overseas. The F. H. A. attended two district meetings and was 'Hx . . Betty Riddell, president, received her State Honioniakens Degree at this meeting. This is the highest honor that is given to any member. F. H. A. had a birthday party this year at which each girl contributed according to her ago for the State Scholarship Fund. Culp, D. Ernst. B. Iones. Student Council, which is made up of class officers of grades seven through twelve, meets once each week with the principal to discuss school problems and plan activities. Suggestions, plans, and various announcements are then taken back to Home Room groups the following morning during class meetings.
