FOOTBALL BANQUET The annual Football Banquet, sponsored by the Bellevue Booster Club, was held at St. John's Evan- gelical Church on December 6, l955. The principal speaker for the occasion was Ara Parseghian, former Miami University Football Coach. Senior football players, managers and cheerleaders received jackets and letters. Ron Mendell was named most efficient back, Bill Harmon the most efficient lineman, and Cliff Eibeck the most improved player on the squad. Mr. Flora, who is retiring as head coach after thir- teen years at Bellevue, was presented with a wrist watch and desk set by the Boosters. Bobby Weigand, team mascot, presented the team's farewell gift. Senior players who received letters and jackets were Paul Rose, Don Dixius, Bob Pope, Grover Heuer, Jim Chase, and Bill Fletcher. Manager Jerry Sheridan and cheerleaders Charlene Ruwe, Nancy Rechtin, Jackie Banks, Claire Hendrick, and Wanda Hastings also received letters and jackets. lBeIowl: Mr. Joe Oldendick, President of the Boosters, presides lAbovel Ara Parseghian, Miami University Football Coach banquet table.
