Student librarians are selected each year by Miss Giles to work at different periods during the day. Duties assigned to them consist of checking books in and out, delivering li- brary slips, typing, filing, collecting book fines, straighten- ing shelves and keeping the library in an orderly and attrac- tive manner. Students may go to the library to do reference work, obtain books for outside reading or to use the many periodicals and newspapers which are kept there.
