Bellevue then Won its third Game in a row by defeating Lloyd 35-O with lack scorinq three touchdowns. The Tigers suffered their first defeat when they were upset by a fiqhtinq Hiqltlarids team leut soon get back to their winning ways by defeatina Beechwood ill-7. The next aarne brought Bellevue fans a qreat disappointment when they were aqain upset by New' port. The Tigers then defeated their arch-rivals froni Dayton with Bill Dougherty and Tern Suter leading the way. They finished the season by defeatinq Ludlow 45-U and Campbell County 5lfU. The Tigers were led throuahout the season by Captain lack Binkley who, with twelve touchdowns to his credit, was the leadina scorer for linernen in the state. lack was named to the All State Team and the National High School All American Squad.
