Winner of the Gazelle Trophy, Ed Wagner, receives his award from Mr. Fred Edwards. Coach Lowell Shaffer directs his star football quartet-Bob Bailey, Ed Wagner, Dave Stratso, and Tom Mitchell-at the football dinner. Bob Bailey also enioyed the meal as Mrs. Richard Adams and Mrs. E. L. VanFleet serve. Senior Student Council members lfront to backl were Dave Stratso, Jim Walters, Georgeanna Miller, Sandra Norman, John Brady, Bob Bailey, and Ed Wagner. Class Selects Son y With lyricist James Taggart directing and Enid Jonas accompanying, the seniors presented their song at the Junior'Senior Prom and again at Com- mencement. Written to a popular tune, the song re- flects their school years and their many experiences: We are the class of fifty-eight: We're marching on to meet our goals, which we have set so true, And with God's help we'll meet those goals, For we've been trained to strive ahead and see our whole life through. We know that here, sometime, somehow, We'll meet again in these same halls whene'er we rendezvous. So, Bellevue Higie, until we meet again, Our class would like to say good-bye. Farewell to you, dear Bellevue High. Our memories of you we'll treasure as the years go by. We've learned that knowledge is a power, And for the learning we've received, we thank our teachers true.
