Son iors Join A lulnn i You've all got senior-itis! Beware, this could happen to you, for indubitably every senior class that comes along sooner or later catches this disease. The Class of '58 has suffered from this rare disease, and some of the contributing factors to the many cases were the three class parties, the three class assemblies, and the class plays, Belles on Their Toes and Girl Crazy. The two proms, Paradise of the Deep and Welekahoa, also added to the senior-itis bug. Though extra-curricular activities were definite factors, the 16 required courses, and the many more absorbed by some, made scholastic achievement the maior factor. But possibly the most outstanding events contributing to the seniors' cure were Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises. Here the entire class assembled as a unit for the last time, presented its honored scholars, heard parting words of advice, and received its certificates of graduation. Senior-itis was finally cured for the Class of '58 two nights after graduation when members were officially welcomed into the Alumni Association. Senior Class officers absorbing last bits of knowledge in the school library are President Gary D. Norman, Vice-President Larry Frost, Secretary Janice Ayers, and Treasurer Gail Zeigler.
