JL lwlrl, The Cinderella story came true. A wishing Well, murals of the pretty maid, and a pump- kin coach brought to life the Well-known tale of Cinderella at the Junior-Senior prom on April 30. The modern Cinder- ellas and their Prince Charm- ings danced to the music of Ernie Duffield and his orches- tra from nine until midnight. A terrace with its wishing Well and stone path attracted much attention. At the back of the auditorium was Cinder- ella's pumpkin coach colored in red and silver. Above the orchestra was a giant clock pointing to the hour of mid- night to remind the Cinder- ellas of their curfew. Reigning over Cinderella's ball were Helen Foos, senior queen, and Joan Helber, jun- ior queen. The invitations and dance program committee was headed by Thelma Joseph and George Rudd. Publicity was handled by Pat Ellison and Clare Mills. Johnny Irons, erncee, Was in charge of enter- tainment. Martha Palmer di- rected the refreshment com- mittee. Obtaining the dance band was supervised by Dave Burke. Louise Foos was re- sponsible for decorations.
