This year our visitors were Paolo Paloschi from Florence, Italy, and Tina Tzifa from Patras, Greece. Paolo arrived in the United States in August to make his American home with Judith Gedney and her parents. A member of Wolverine Guard and the swim team, Paolo became an integral part of life in Bellevue. Constantina, who stayed with Carolyn Lewis and her family, did not take long to become acquainted with American life. A member of Loyalty, Homecom- ing princess, and participant in the Variety Show, Tina found American student life different, but fun. 2 This year Bellevue High sent two students over- seas. Last summer George Brain visited Sweden, and in July Trudi Stoller left Bellevue for Baerum, Nor- way, to make her home with the Leif Larsens. Here she soon found herself becoming quite Norwegian. Such novelties as goat cheese and whale meat be- came interesting items in her diet. George spent a fascinating summer learning about life in that prosperous Scandanavian country, Sweden. Although he did not have a chance to go to school there, he made a host of friends, and brought home several blanket-thick Swedish sweaters.
