AA A 12127 ffm OUR LINK WITH THE COMMUNI Our hope for the future lies in our ability to connect the knowledge which we have gained at Bellevue Senior High School with everyday happenings in our homes and community. Just as a newly designed machine is not trustworthy until it has been tested, so an education is not known to be workable if kept confined to the classroom. Educa- tion must be connected with the realities of day-to-day living. Young people find this transfer dithcult without the advice and guidance of ex- perienced, interested adults. Bellevue High is extremely fortunate to have two such groups always ready to give us the full benefit of their rich backgrounds and their sin- cere interest. We extend our gratitude to the men and women of the school board and the ad- ministration. 8 SCHOOL BOARD: FRONT ROW: Mrs. Wil Iiam Carkeek, Mrs. Ruth Morrell, BACK ROW: Mr. Al C. Thompson, Jr., Dr. Fern- ley W, Duey, and Mr. Philip Bronson. UPPER OFFICE: Dr. Roy Wahle, Mr. Alunson T. Powell, Mrs. Al- ice A. Kolb, Mr. Jesse Hartman, Mr. Bryan lawerence, Mr. Frank Armsfead, Mr. William Morton. TY
