STUDENT BOSSES ON THE BUILDING JOB School spirited and proud to be leading their fellow students the four officers elected by the student body for the year 19521953 have looked toward the future when Bellevue students will enloy the convenience of the new addition Spear heading the activities of the Board of Control Dave Widney president worked end lessly for the benefit of the ASB As well as represented Bellevue at all KlngCo League presl dents meetings during the year As AS B officers said Dave We are not only interested in the welfare of our high school of today but we re looking forward to the pride well have in Bellevue in the future Vice president Edie Simi with her usual dy nomic leadership carried out the additional duties of AS B historian and chairman of the ASB Court She was head of the assembly committee which secured many entertaining pro grams for the students Part of her responsibility was potential for she had to be prepared at all 'l4 times to assume the presidents position in his possible absence Secretary Sandy Stowell was responsible for the Board of Control minutes the greatest point of contact between the students and their legis lative body l hope thatl have helped the students to under stand the decisions of the Board of Control commented Sandy and it has been a lot of fun working for the student body The spark plug of any organization is the fi nance officer As A S B treasurer Tom Spencer made financial reports to the Board of Control and served on various student committees His efficient chairmanship of the ASB card and game ticket sales will be a model for future treasurers These four loyal students are to be commended for the fine leadership they have shown and for the earnestness of their purpose to build a better Bellevue for the future I f an ,, Sand well, Dave Widney, die in l, 1 r, ll ll , .
