LRNCER PDVRLTV » The hi-light of the Loyalty Week activities is the crowning of the queen and the selection of her court. This year ' s Loyalty Week Queen was Michele Remecker. She was escorted by Scott Dukowitz. First runner-up Lisa Merryman was escorted by Brian Wegley. Kirsten Klauss was selected second runner-up. Her escort was Larry Schott. The nominees for Queen were: Kirsten Klauss, Lisa Merryman, Susan Rust, Jeanne Smith, Linda Townsend. Escort candidates were. Keith Billhartz, Jeff Bowen, Don Cornell, Scott Dukowitz, Jim Lugge, Larry Schott, Brian Wegley. ER5T 5TLDENT5 EXPERIENCE THE CDLDE5T WINTER ON RECORD The thermometer dropped to temperatures below the freez¬ ing level, and cold winds added to the extremely uncomfort¬ able days at Belleville East. In spite of cold wind chill factors of -50° on several occasions, East remained open. Snow at Christmas added to the uncomfortable chill. The student body was reminded by the administration not to throw snowballs on campus, but some students decided to frolic in the snow anyway.
