I FGREWORD , l The beginning of life is a small, rippling stream. Our parents and teachers help to guide our small canoe around any stones we may meiet. As the stream becomes wider and wilder, we advance to a larger boat. To steer the larger boat over the rapids and hidden rocks, we need more knowledge and skill. Other small streams join the larger one until it becomes a bwide, deep river flowing steadily to the sea. To navigate the turbulent waters and huge waves on the sea, a larger, stronger ship and increased knowledge is necessary. We must constantly refuel on this journey of life to be able to meet the new challenges. Unforeseen problems and difficulties arise on the sea of life, but with Christ as our Chief Pilot to show us each dangerous shoal and reef, we can conquer them. Our easily attained desires have become far-off goals which require great effort to reach, just as the horizons of the sea have widened from the close boundaries of the stream. In school at B. M. S. , we gain a very essential part of the training necessary for the direction of our ship. In this book we are presenting ,to you a glimpse of our school life. BIG VALLEY FEED Sa GRAIN CO. l
