r Mr. Laurie Mitton, Principal PRINCIP ,S MESSAGE Many students approach their graduation with mixed emotions. Graduation is both a sad and a happy time for all of us. lt ls sad because good friends part to go their separate ways--happy because twelve years of hard work are over. I would like to call to your attention the following points: 113 There is no substitute for real spirituality. Q29 There is no substitute for intellectual development, CBJ There is no substitute for work. All three are essential if you wish to be an educated person. If one is neglected your education is faulty. I trust that in the last twelve years you have all come to appreciate these three truths and that you will go forth from these halls of learning to serve Christ and His Church in true humility and sincerity. Board of Education In this twentieth century in which we are living there is a conflict--not a conflict between the North, South, East, or West, but one between the flesh and the Spirit. In Galatians 5:17 we read-- For the flesh Iusteth against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh . . . To the Seniors and the future classes who are anticipating graduation we want to say that there are greater factors ln life than receiving diplomas. We must be on guard daily against the suggestions of the flesh. All of us are either denying the flesh or denying our Heavenly Father. We want to say thank you to all who have helped to make this educational program possible. Nelson Glick SEATED, Left to Right: C. Clayton Hartzler, President: Jesse Hartzler, Secretary.
