IUNIORS President Leonard Byler Vice-President Marian Glick Secretary Virginia Peachey Treasurer Dolores .T . Kauffman THE GOAL As beginners, we thought it too unreal for speech, A vague, distant promise, with no virtues to teach, None of us thought we could ever reach The Goall lt's root in our hearts had found good soil Not once, in our minds, could discouragem t foil The Goal! But still we followed it through years of toilg en Now that we have one more step to take, The promise no longer seems a fake, For it's shadow gives us more zeal to make The Goall Lord, in they strength we were upward bound, By thy grace shall we take the final round, Till each can in triumph say, I have found The Goall Leonard Byler FRONT ROW, Left to Right: Virginia Peachey, Leonard Byler, Marian Glick, SECOND ROW: Leonard Roth, Joanne Kauffman, Dolores J , Kauffman, Marvin Metzler. As Juniors we have almost come to the end of our high school career. In the past we have been steadily climbing in school and have been made more aware of what we have gained from our faithful teachers. Since there were only seven Juniors this year, the jtmior and senior classes were combined for most of the subjects. Our climbing has been harder than previous years, but with God's help we will successfully reach the top. Our goal is not far in the distance and we know that the hard work we have done this year will prepare us to be mountain-top seniors. Joanne Kauffman Sponsored by JOHN D., ZOOK FAMILY

The top, far away, we will strive to reachg For we all have the responsibility Of pressing onward in this life Developing our every ability. We have climbed long and hard throughout the year. Let's rest during the summer vacationl When school again starts, we'll again all resume Climbing the mountain of education. J. Lorne Peachey As we twenty-eight students think of the end of this year, we think of the few more steps which have been climbed up the motmtain trail to our aim: graduation. On our way to this goal, we have en- joyed Christian fellowship with one another by enthu- siastically participating in the school's activities and classes. We thank the faculty for helping to make our school days ones that will always be remembered. We wish the seniors the best of success in the future. May you always remember to walk in God's will, and he will lead you. Joanne Peachey Sponsored by LESTER ZOOK FAMILY

It was only a formal high school train- ing which has been completed, making us realize that the training afforded us at Belleville Mennonite School has served as a means to help us find our place in life. Looking back upon our four years of high school, we can sum up our efforts in a few words, anticipation, climbing, discouragement, new strength. and finally our goal. With a solid background of Christian teaching and experience, our responsibility, as we stand upon the threshold, is to continue, Onward with Christ . Velma Stoltzfus Sponsored by JOHN D. ZOOK FAMILY ' 21 ON THE THRESHOLD Starting UPWBIQ we struggled, But oft stopped to ponder-- The top seems so far , What's the use? we would wonder. We needed more courage To climb this steep way. God supplied every need with new strength for each day. Looking down from the peak With anxiety, we thrill. We stand on the threshold Of life, in God's will.
