She rode on Belleville's float in the parade dressed in a colonial style dress of purple and lavender crepe paper. Her hat was lavender with purple streamers. She carried a nosegay of pink and yellow roses. Belleville's Float The float which Gaylia McArthur rode had a background of green ruffled crepe paper on which Belleville was spelled in pink paper roses. Belleville-'s Queen Margaret Ann Moudy, of the junior class, rode on the queen's float in the parade at Danville. She was beautifully attired in a royal blue dress with black accessories. Her Corsage was of yellow chrysanthemums tied with black and yellow ribbon. The queens were crowned by Governor Sid McMath after the parade. Queens' Float The queens' float, which the queens from Belleville and other schools in Yell County, rode in the parade, was very pretty.
