Thomas J. Gallagher 34 Hornblower Avenue Commercial Course Tall, red-headed and Irish... Tom says he wants to be a cop . . . he'll make a perfect one, hates to study especially Eng- Iish...can be put in a good mood by the strains of Rose O'Day . . . likes senior science ...in sports likes especially basketball and football . . . nev- er misses Kay Kyser's program. Eleanor Galleri 248 Washington Avenue General Course A grand sport just bubbling over with vitality . . . yes, that's El. . .a whiz at making bas- kets but she would much rather play basketball the way the boys do...El is also one of the very capable assistant librarians our school has... conceited, l should say not... girls with her personality are rare. Virginia M. Gannon l30 Union Street College Course Always talking but we'll for- give her knowing what a lot of fun she is to have around ...manages to get in trouble all the time . , . a startling per- sonality and a nifty dresser describe her best . . . interested in dramatics and with good reason too having been an out- standing member of our Dra- matic Club. .loe Gardi 61 Little Street General Course A quiet fellow with a friendly disposition interested in swimming and basketball like most boys . . . movies keep him busy too. . . found law to be his most interesting subject during his senior year . . . hasn't decided about his future yet . . . doesn't mind going to school but is not fond of the home- work. 28 1?- Teresa Garruto I9 King Street Commercial Course Terry is crazy about seeing orchestra leaders in person . . . her favorite is Vaughn Monroe . . . loves to ice skate and goes whenever she gets the chance ...is a faithful rooter for our football eleven . . . Dear Mom is a song that sets her to humming . . .hopes to work in an office. Walter Garvey 39 Prospect Place General Course Jim . . . it's a mystery- to us too but that's what he's called ...we call him an easy-going fellow with a super talent for drawing . . . just to prove it he had the honor of receiving a Scholastic award in his junior year for one of his drawings . . . thinks he might like to be a draftsman . . . did drawings for the Monad. Theodore W. Geiser l4l Forest Street College Course Florence Gelok 23 Terrace Place Commercial Course Ted's a Dodger fan . . . also quite an actor . . . can't keep track of the number of school plays he's been in . . .says he likes dancing if he could only dance...will talk with any- body on any subject and all believe what he says . . . want to make him happy.. .just give him a dish of spaghetti and meat balls. Just give Flo a horse and sad- dle and she'll be happy . . . be- lieves in that old saying that a dog is man's best friend . . . hates to be called Red ... insists her hair is blonde... Glenn Miller takes first place on her list of bands.,.an- other baseball fan who roots for the Giants even if they don't win.

Joe Falcone 585 Joralemon Street General Course Joe is a dark haired, hand- some boy, who says he likes study halls best of all high school classes . . . after gradua- tion he is going to work, and we are sure he will soon be at the top . . .a general sports enthusiast, never concentrat- ing on one . . . Lana Turner holds his current interest. .-qw,- Josephine Fantacone 54 Roosevelt Avenue Commercial Course Known to her very best friends as Jippy . . . this quiet young miss is just chock full of fun and laughter . . . appears to be a shy girl but upon further investigation you will find her interested in all sports . . .one who jitterbugs . . . a better rug- cutter than she is not to be found. . .does like history. Thomas Ferguson 28 Bell Street General Course Scotty is an ardent baseball fan . . . cheers the Brooklyn Dodgers on year after year... likes printing.. .belongs to the Printing Club and hopes to work in that field some day. .. another Glenn Miller worships per . . . wouldn't mind listening to the White Cliffs of Dover for hours at a time. Kathleen Fitzsin-nnons 590 Washington Avenue Commercial Course You all know this tall, slender miss and her many new hair styles . . . the Irish are always smiling . . . Kay is Irish so the result is a perpetual smile... gallops away with the Riding Club . . . belongs to the Home Eckers Club as well. . . quite a combination . . . from the ath- letic to the domestic . . . what's more she likes dancing. Eleanor Frances Ford 58 De Witt Avenue General Course Pep, vim, and vigor . . . sums up Eleanor with the bobbing reddish curls. . . is always busy bowing, dancing or ioking with her friends . . .of all the school sports El enioys football most. . . an indefatigable work- er. . .gave much time and ef- fort to the Junior Prom. Robert P. C. Fotschky l0O Tappan Avenue Commercial Course l Want to Be Happy like Fotch . ..always has a grin and a good word for you... as a pastime enioys football games, listens to good swing bands and also builds model boats. . .plans to work first and then attend Rutgers Agricul- tural College , . .friendly and ambitious . . . with those qual- ifications, success is on its way. Fraser I74 loralemon Street General Course Scotty is known by all... has been heard playing his violin during all four years in our Orchestra . . . likes very much to bowl and skate... dislikes intetsely to do home- work . . . interested in radio and hopes to further this by be- coming something in that field ...takes a while to get to know him, but it's worth it. Dee always has a cheery hello for everybody . . . is a lot of fun and a pleasant addition to any gathering . . . has been a bank- er and member of the German Club for two years ..swim- ming, dancing, skating and playing basketball are some of her diversions.. .her ambition is to be the secretary of a nice boss. Lois Freid I5 Stevens Road College Course The stars above, they twin- kle and shine . . . but Lois' eyes, why they are sublime . . . no fooling they are beautiful . .. her hair is another asset . . . every second day fixed another way . . . Lois lust couldn't get geometry under any conditions . . . belonged to the Riding Club ...quite an ardent rider too.
