Barnard, Industrial Arts and Driver Education teacher at U.A.B. After graduation from Mexico High School, Mr. Barnard attended Oswego State University for two years before joining the United States Army in World War II. After discharge, Mr. Barnard returned to Oswego, received a B.S. degree in Indus- trial Arts and began in teaching at Union Academy in 1948. Since then he has obtained his Masters Degree from Oswego. He has been very active in community school and church affairs, having held or holding high offices in the Masons. He was “The Tower” advisor and photography advisor for many years. Our class wishes Mr. Barnard the best of luck and thanks him for his time and efforts through our high school years. Board, Faculty, and Staff S. LaLonde Math L. Hunnyman 4 th Grade M. It had been 5 years since many of us had seen each other, but much to our dismay the reunion wasn’t very successful. Cards and letters were sent from those who could not attend and we see that fortunately most everyone reached their secret ambition one way or another. This is compiled from those who wrote and told us their whereabouts: JILL BARNARD was off somewhere in the Antartic Ocean checking the fish out with Jacques Cousteau. JAY ADAMS just got done taking a personal accounting course with Bert Lance, he’s working his way to- wards the U.S. Treasury. JOHN BERRY is running his “good cars” in the Indy 500 stock car races, just as fast as he did through Belle- ville. MIKE HALFERTY desired the most to be the fastest miler, he’s still in training with Bruce Jenner but can now' travel faster than the speed of light. JANE PARSONS graduated seeking a rich man. well she’s still got her hooks out for that secret son of Howard Hughes. TOM PALMER his secret ambition was to make lots of money, unfortunately he got arrested last year for counterfeiting. LORI SIMONTON she had but one wish, to graduate, she couldn’t make the reunion, because she’s home polishing her diploma. MIKE BROWN who wanted to become a big company president succeeded. He is now president of the new broadcasting system ABS. Under him GEORGE WIDRICK owns his own recording studio, and under him GENE LUNMAN fulfilled his dream by becoming a sportscaster pushing Howard Cosell right out of Monday Night Football. BECKY ABBOTT was the first woman to play in the NBA, she and DAVE ZEHR are now rebuilding the Bos- ton Celtics. 50 BARRY ORMSBY wanted to join the Coast Guard and go to sea but everytime he sees a beach with bikinis he sticks to shore. CINDY ELMER dreamed of traveling around a lot, after graduation site hijacked a 747 with crew and hasn’t landed yet. SANDY CRANDALL enlisted in the Marines and started her own Operation Petticoat. MIKI BARNEY is scheduled to appear on TV in recognition from General Motors as their most outstanding I rams Am customer ever. Mike has just purchased his 26th Trans Am and is now in debt 26 more times than when he graduated. ELDON PERRY dreamed of becoming a pro. He has at last succeeded by becoming a professional sanitation worker. CONNIE BOLTON put K-Mart out of business when she linked up her own chain of stores. LISA LANGWORTHY wanted to someday fill Wonder Woman’s golden cups, she is still spinning, but the un- iform and cups aren’t quite the same. TIM STREETER could sec himself as a guard for the Indiana Pacers. He has somewhat acheived that goal by becoming Sergeant of Security for the team. MICHELE BROWNING desired to become a beautician, because of the fact that hares multiply, she’s built quite a business. Then there are those who graduated, got married and are home like good housewives: CINDY WHITE wanted to become a star but she married Jim and is now raising her own little galaxy. DENISE HUDSON married Dave and is moving as far away from Belleville as they could get, they now reside in Rural Hill. MARY ANN KRISTIANSEN found a hot romance with another Norwegian and they now are raising a large family in Norway. JULIE TIBBLES married Tom White she wanted 12 kids but they overshot that and had 13. G. Lunman, D. Zehr, S. Duck, T. Palmer, D. Halferty, W. Zehr, T. Dack, M. Halferty, G. Cough, T.
